If asked to point to one thing that when in engaged in you feel the most you, what would you say? Have you ever thought about it? When was the last time you actually engaged with that part of you?
A few months ago I came across the book by Emily P. Freeman titled A Million Little Ways. I had to buy it! I was in just the place where these words were timely, inspiring and colliding with the nudging I felt from God. The nudging being His path to answers to some deep questions within.
Likely we've heard we are made for a purpose, but Emily spends her words unwrapping this truth in ways that ignite the heart to become the art God created us to be. The reader is inclined to really believe they are art no one else can be and to walk away from the pages in hopes of truly uncovering and living such a life. But uncovering our purpose isn't the end, only the means. Emily shares, "I don't believe there is one great thing I was made to do in this world. I believe there is one great God I was made to glorify."
There is something entirely energizing about tapping into something I may be afraid to uncover but have been created to live. "Could it be possible that the thing you most long for, the thing you notice and think about and wish you could do, is the thing you were actually made and are being equipped to do?"
Go read this book! The world needs you!
