With August preparing to shut her doors, a fresh perspective is taking place. Weather is cooler, schedules are resumed, purpose is refocused, energies are renewed. For many of us, life feels to be taking a deep inhale.
For others of us, the dread of lifeless winter looms on the horizon. Change in circumstances, loss, "new" we couldn't keep away...these are the heavy things of life. The hard and draining things. At best, we find ourselves putting one foot in front of the other as the days swirl on in forward motion.
No matter the season, we are promised cycles of change. Darkest days of winter will bring the subtle growth and slow becoming of spring. Dancing in the light of summer will bring the abounding blessings of autumn.

Clinging, wrapping, upholding are the tendrils of hope found stretching toward our hearts within each cycle of life.
This, my friend, is the beauty of the seasons.
If you are weary, hold on. Things won't stay this way forever.
May you find the tendrils of hope upholding you in this season of your living.
